Top 4 star hotel with over 200 rooms in the Birmingham area seeks a strong Director of Sales with previous solid sales and top level management experience in hotels. You will have a 4 star hotel background and will have worked in a director role for similar sized hotels in the past. You will be fully conversant in all different sales aspects of this diverse role, which includes weddings, functions, events and will need good knowledge of the corporate market. Ideally you will have international experience and will be looking to develop the next step in your career. You will be required to travel in terms of proactively taking part in attending major trade shows, planning sales trips and show cases in the UK and in general you will be on top of new developments and keep ahead of the competition.
